1. Introduction

The Research Centre for Translation Studies (http://translator.btk.pte.hu), founded in 2004, devotes its activity to research, training intercultural mediators, organizing conferences “Dialogue of Cultures in a Multilingual Europe”, issuing electronic journals and proceedings both named Translatologia Pannonica.
